Questions people ask
What is a balloon payment?
A lump sum due at the end of the loan. It lowers the regular repayments, but you pay more interest overall and need to plan for paying, refinancing or selling at the end of the term.
What is the difference between personal and business use?
Business-use finance is assessed and structured differently. Lenders consider things such as how long your ABN has been held and whether you are registered for GST, and tax treatment differs, so speak with your accountant.
How long can I finance a vehicle for?
This calculator covers 1 to 7 years. The term a lender offers depends on the asset, its age and your circumstances.
Is a prestige or classic car financed the same way?
Not always. Prestige and collector vehicles can have different lender policies and valuations. Christian arranges finance for these regularly.
